Equipped for Specialized Driving Evaluations & Training
Our practice has three vehicles equipped with additional safety features to support driving evaluations and instruction.
2023 Kia Soul
Our adapted Kia Soul includes:
Passenger-side Operator Safety (OS) brake
Electronic hand controls
Wheelchair ramp with rear-entry access
Specialized driver seating
2024 Ford Escape
Equipped with a passenger-side Operator Safety (OS) brake.
2025 Ford Escape
Equipped with a passenger-side Operator Safety (OS) brake.
Each vehicle has an additional braking system on the passenger side for the driving instructor or evaluator.
Important Service Information
Our adapted vehicle currently accommodates evaluations for manual-wheelchair users. Due to vehicle-height limitations, we are unable to accommodate power-wheelchair users for evaluations.
Please note that The Driving Doctor does not provide services or evaluations for individuals who need to retire from driving.
